Hi, I’m André Santos. I’m a Portuguese web developer living in Oslo, with roots in art and game development.
Photography is my excuse to step away from my desk. As I came to find out the hard way, working remotely can REALLY shrink your world, but the camera forces me out the door. Whether in Portugal or Norway, it pushes me to engage with the world instead of just scrolling through it (instagram reels are a curse).
This isn't a gear review site. I’m not here to sell you a lens or chase clinical perfection. I’m here to archive moments that move me visually or emotionally. It's a place to track my journey through the gear I use and the places I go in part in an effort to step away from social media.
When I’m offline, I’m usually running, playing squash, or hunting for vinyl records and photo books. I love physical formats that force you to slow down and pay attention.
Thanks for stopping by. If my notes on gear and cold mornings help you in any way, that’s enough for me.
